Well, low and behold, I was accepted and that was when my experimenting with beauty products officially began. Every so often, I would have the opportunity of going to events  and I was also sent products in the mail to sample  and report back to Teen People on.

One of my honestly favorite products I can remember testing was the début of Avon's Mark 2 in 1 Lip-gloss Mascara combination. On one end was my lip-gloss, and on the other end was a really great mascara. Each end was removable and interchangeable with other items in Mark’s product line which, at the time, if I am remembering correctly, only included lip gloss and mascara (maybe eye pencil).

How amazing to have witnessed the growth of Mark over the years with the development of a more elaborate product line as well as a brilliant marketing strategy targeting college and high school aged girls as their Mark/Avon sales reps.

Honestly, I am a current fan of Mark's For Goodness Face Moisturizer. With a super light weight texture, this face moisturizing lotion is perfect for daytime, especially since we are moving forward in to the warm months of Summer. This product also offers the multifunctionality of having an SPF30 and is oil free, making this item my first choice to bring with me on vacation. Made with blueberries and dark chocolate “for their intense antioxidant super powers and a protective plant derived complex” to help  all you beauties deal with a less than perfect environment.
